For all parents, their baby's safety is very important. This article includes keeping them safe when out in their babies car seat to keeping them safe at home.

1) Make sure there are no small objects in reach of your baby. You baby can easily choke on small objects.
2) Keep any hot appliances out of reach of your baby, for example your hair straighteners or an iron.
3) Don't keep your cleaning products and any other potentially dangerous products in the cupboard under the sink, or anywhere that you baby could get their hands on them.
4) Use a stair gate to stop your baby from climbing up the stairs, or down them. If your baby is downstairs you should have a gate at the bottom of the stairs. If your baby is upstairs you should have a gate at the top of the stairs. Stair gates are a great safety product to buy.
5) Your baby must be sitting in their babies car seat whilst travelling in the car. This is important for safety reasons and it is against the law for a baby to travel in a car and not be in the correct restraint.
6) Don't leave your baby near water, even if it is just a mop basin with water in it, there is still a potential risk that they could drown.
7) Make sure you keep all medicines out of the reach of children. If children get their hands on the medicines, the outcome could be fatal.
